If I Die Tonight

If I die tonight
in my apartment I’ll left;
an empty bottle of alcohol,
the lights turned on,
a phone laying by my side,
used tissues thrown on the floor,
dirty dishes untouched,
a piece of paper;
Neruda’s poems written on it

If I die tonight,
nobody will know;
how or why

If I die tonight,
nobody will ask;
how or why

If I die tonight,
nobody will care;
how or why

Let there be no last goodbye
Let there be no tears

If I die tonight,
nothing I will be
